2. What is the need for mergers?
3. What is the meaning of take-over? Mention any three
objectives of take-over.
4. What is reverse merger? Provide example.
5. Enumerate the key elements required to measure the
post-merger efficiency.
6. Enumerate the need for financial restructuring.
7. Write short notes on: Bail-out take-overs.
8. What are the types of demergers?

12. Explain in brief the tax concessions and incentives
emerging in demerger to stakeholders.
13. Discuss the various factors which are required to be
reorganized in the post merged acquired company to
implement the objectives.
14. Briefly describe the procedure for buy-back of listed
securities.
15. Discuss the process of strategic planning.
