Define 'evaluation' and differentiate it from 'measurement'. Discuss in detail the place of· evaluation in the overall process of teaching and learning.

What is meant by cognitive and non-cognitive learning outcomes? Discuss in detail the procedure of assessing non-cognitive outcomes of learning along with tools and techniques used in the procedure.
2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:
Discuss the process of development and use of classroom tests as instruments of evaluation. How can classroom tests be used for improvement of instruction? Explain with examples.
OR
Discuss the process-related characteristics of evaluation as a dynamic process. Also mention the steps involved in the process of evaluation.

Explain basic sources of deriving educational objectives.
Describe briefly three important guidelines for construction of Multiple Choice questions.
