Discuss in detail as to how the curriculum framework for quality teacher education brought out by NCTE in 1998 is a major departure from earlier teacher education frameworks.

What are the different approaches in teacher education? Which approach would you prefer and why? Discuss with convincing argument.

Define the concept of micro-teaching. What are the various phases involved in it? Explain its assumptions and different components in detail.
