2. Explain the objectives of emergency preparedness planning with key elements of on-site plan for a chemical industry. Also discuss the five leading causes of accidents in a chemical industry.

3. What is the importance of disaster mapping Discuss the use of geographical information system in disaster preparedness. Also cite some examples.

4. Discuss the importance of community participation in disaster preparedness plan. Also elaborate the nature and significance of IEC (Information, Education and Communication) and training in a situation of disaster.

5. Explain the role of administration and policy makers in disaster risk reduction in the Indian context. Also give some measures for reducing the disaster vulnerability of cities through urban planning.

6. "Disaster preparedness is an effective way of reducing the impact of disasters." Discuss the statement by analyzing the preparedness activities before, during and after disasters.

7. Describe the relationship between earthquake and tsunami and support your answer with neat sketches. Also discuss some examples of tsunami that you are familiar with.
