'Education is of basic importance in the planned development of a nation'. On the basis of this statement critically examine the major changes happened in the prioritization of plan programmes from the First to the Tenth Plan.

Explain the various approaches to educational planning. Discuss the synthesis of these approaches with examples.
3. Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each

In the effort of improving the quality of education, examine the role of institutional planning in schools. Describe the techniques that can be adopted in your school as part of institutional planning. Give suitable examples.
