1. Answer the following (each answer should be in approximately 100 words): (Marks 2×10=20)
a. With examples explain the term 'public law'.
b. In the context of the Indian legal system explain the difference between 'substantive law'
and 'procedural law'.
c. Write two most important features of 'civil legal system'
d. Do you agree with the view that the literal rule of interpretation represents the philosophy
of analytical positivism?
e. Write about the importance of the two dissenting opinions of judges pertaining to the
constitutional law of India.
f. Write two features of the 'advisory jurisdiction' of the Supreme Court of India.
g. Write about two landmark judgments of the Supreme Court of India delivered under the
original jurisdiction.
h. Discuss the importance of law in a society.
i. Write an analytical note on the rationales for Delegated Legislation.
