1. "The law regulates relationships between peoples. It prescribes patterns of behavior. It reflects the values of society. The role of the court is to understand the purpose of law in the society and to help the law to achieve its purpose." In the light of given statement write a descriptive note on the Purpose and Functions of Law. (Marks 10)
2. "The term 'sources of law' sometimes used in relation to sovereign or the state from which law derives its force or validity. Sometimes it is used to denote the causes of law or the matter of which law is composed and sometimes it is used with respect to the decisions of the court." In the light of given statement discuss the primary and secondary sources of law. (Marks 10)
3. Write short notes on the following:
i. Difference between Civil and Criminal Law.
ii. Difference between Substantive and Procedural Law. (Marks 5×2=10)
