PART A
I. Interpret any TEN of the following in about 50 words each: (10×2=20) Away from the sight of thy face my heart knows no rest nor respite, and my work becomes an endless toil in a shoreless sea of toil. Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit what do you chant, O magicians? Spells for aeons to come. She skims like a bird on the foam of a stream, She floats like a laugh from the lips of a dream. The poets only sang of the floods. The strong man's technique is Always the same, he serves his love in lethal doses, It is time to Choose a name, a role. Don't play pretending games. So between heat and cold I moved, withdrawn, living feebly on rumour. It was a reflex action touched off by a racial religious insult. 10) You can well imagine what a difference this must have made all over the world. 11) Such a history of man would really be a fascinating story. 12) I don't think abundance and spirituality are mutually exclusive or that it is wrong to desire material things.
