Read the following and answer the questions.
11. State the categories of employees to which the
Payment of Bonus Act does not apply.
Who is entitled and who is not entitled to claim
bonus under the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965?
Mr. X joined as supervisor on monthly salary of
Rs. 4,000 on 01.02.2011 and resigned from his job
on 28.02.2011. The company declared a bonus of
20% to all eligible employees and paid it on time.
Mr. X knowing the facts made a claim to HRD,
which inturn rejected the claim. Examine the
validity in the light of the provisions of the Bonus
Act, 1965.
Mr. who is a permanent employee of RBI. State
whether he is entitled to receive bonus under the
Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
