Our constitution declares India as a "democratic, socialist and secular republic". What do you understand by these concepts? Discuss the educational implications of these concepts highlighting how they have shaped the educational structure of the country.

Justify the statement: "India is a pluralistic multicultural society." Discuss the composite culture of India with special reference to "unity in diversity".
