The more and other important information related to this job specified as Roles and responsibilities: Conduct survey and identify, facilitate and develop credible reciprocal relations with industry, companies and business houses by leveraging IIT Jammu brand. Develop and maintain database of companies/industries. Interact with top management & HR of industry as a face of the institute. Identify opportunities for academic collaboration with industry and create plans to leverage the same. Systematic record keeping of industry interactions – Prepare minutes of all the meetings and interactions with industries and internal meetings as well. Placement Development and execution of placement strategy. Design and Printing of Placement Brochure Soft copy as well as Hard copy. Organizing internships and campus placement drives with companies efficiently. Manage communication between companies and students effectively. Organize Workshops related to Resume Writing, GD and Interview(s), Skills Development sessions. Maintain Student Resume Bank and make certified copies available to industry. Maintain student Placement data-bank/records Additional skill development Conduct training needs analysis (TNAs) & identifying gaps in skills and competencies in students and requirement of the industry. Identify appropriate training interventions to overcome identified gaps. Create training calendar, timelines and work plans for trainings. Monitor adherence and quality to ensure training effectiveness. Niche Skill Set (MBQs) Sound and rich frame of reference, in terms of awareness to changing needs of industry in the Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous world. Ability to develop sound co-relations between cause and effect, with overall focus on ‘system thinking’. Excellent linguistic skills (English - Verbal & Written) and interpersonal skills. Tech savvy with excellence in managing Public Relations, inter/intra vertical liaison and general relationship building.
