1. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Explain the meaning and nature of Educational Technology. Describe various phases through which educational technologies have evolved.

OR

Discuss in detail the need and emergence of open schooling system in India. Describe with examples the multi-channel instructional strategies NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) uses to serve its learner's needs.

2. Answer the following question in about 600 words:

Explain 'media selection'. Discuss with suitable examples the various steps for selecting and integrating media for Teaching-Learning process.

OR

Explain the meaning and significance of software in audio and video programmes. Discuss the principles of designing softwares for acquisition of knowledge, attitudes and skills.
