4. What are the key characteristics of the Piagetian approach to learning and Chomsky's approach to learning? State the main difference between the two. 12 8=20
5. Distinguish between errors, lapses and mistakes. How should a teacher of English approach error correction 10 10=20
6. Throw light on the role of the mother tongue and the role of English in the Indian Education system. What suggestions would you like to give education planners with regard to teaching of English language when a new education policy is framed? Give reasons for your stand. 10 10=20
7. What do you understand by language disorders? Distinguish between Broca's aphasia and Wernicke's aphasia giving examples of each.
