Note: Question no. 1 is compulsory. Answer any four questions from the rest. All questions carry equal marks.

2. What is the difference between scale and proportion? Explain with relevant sketches. 14
3. What is a modular design Explain the merits and demerits. 14
4. What are the different ways to create a focal point in interior space? Explain with sketches. 14
5. What are the various methods of fenestration/window treatments by which exterior views can be filtered or captured in interior design? 7
What is the purpose of flashing and caulking in window construction Explain with the help of sketches. 7
6. Differentiate between Prang and Munsell's colour schemes. Explain with sketches. 14
7. Design a mural on a wall measuring 12 m x 6 m for an educational institution lobby. Apply analogous colour scheme. Walls are painted with egg shell white emulsion and flooring done using offwhite vitrified tiles. (Use suitable scale.) 14
