1. Write an algorithm and a program for exchange
sort.
Write and execute a shell program to send mail to
groups of users by extracting their ids from etc
group file.
2. Write an algorithm and a program for selection sort.
Write and execute a shell program to print monthly
payslips for employees in an organization. Assume
your own data.
3. Write an algorithm and a program for heap sort.
Write a program for four function calculator by
using yacc command.

4. Write an algorithm and a program for Travelling
salesman problem using branch-and-bound method.
Write a shell program to prepare electricity bill for
domestic consumers and print the bill in a neat
format. (Assume your own data)
5. Write an algorithm and a program to find the
factorial of a given number using recursion.
Write and execute a shell program to generate leave
status report of an organizaiton.
6. Write an algorithm and a program for Towers of
Honai Problem.
Write a menu driven shell program to copy, edit,
rename and delete a file.
7. Design and develop an algorithm for knight tour
problem. Also write the program.
Write a shell program using 3 arguments to take
the pattern as well as input and output file names.
If the pattern is found display "pattern found" else
display "Error Message". Also check if right number
of arguments are entered.
