1. What are the provisions of penalities under the Factories
Act, 1948?
2. Explain the liability of the employer in the event of
workman contracting any occupational disease.
3. When and under what circumstances strikes or lockouts
become illegal?
4. What are the functions and duties of inspectors under the
Employee's State Insurance Act, 1948?
5. State the rules as to payment and recovery of
contributions by an employer under Employee's
Provident Fund Act.
6. What are the rules relating to nomination by an employee
under the payment of gratuity act, 1972?
7. What are the conditions for eligibility of bonus? When is
an employee disqualified from receiving bonus?
8. Write a note on Registration on Trade Union.

purposes for which the fund may be expended?
12. What are the provisions of the Employee's Provident
Fund Act, 1952 relating to the constitution of provident
fund scheme and pension scheme?
13. Explain the rules for determination and distribution of
bonus. How can bonus be recovered by the employees?
14. What are the various methods for the settlement of
disputes under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947?
15. Discuss the provisions of the Payment of Wages Act, 1936
with regard to deductions which may, and which may not,
be made from wages?
