5. Explain the concept or a two stage digestion system and why It IS required. Describe the salient features of this type or sludge digestion.
A water course commands an area of 800 hectares. The intensity' of irrigation of rice in this area is 50%. Transplantation of rice crop fakes 15 days during which period the water depth required is 60 cm. Rainfall during this period IS 15cm .
