11. Explain in detail about weathering of rocks and the products of weathering. Or Discuss in detail about the geological work and land forms formed by river.
12. Discuss the various physical properties of minerals with suitable examples. Or Elaborate on the composition, physical properties and mode of origin and uses of Quartz and its varieties Mica and its varieties
13. How will you differentiate the three groups of rocks in the field? Or Bring out any six salient characteristics between Igneous, sedimentary and Metamorphic rocks.
14. What is a fold? Describe the various classifications of fold with neat sketches. Or Discuss about the electrical resisitvity method and its applications in civil engineering field.
15. Explain the geological considerations necessary for the construction of tunnel in hard and soft rock terrains. Or Discuss the factors which are influencing landslides and suggest remedial measures.
