with diagram.
5. Why do you need encoding of data before sending over a medium? Discuss the four possible
encoding techniques with examples.
6. Compare and contrast between packet switching, circuit switching and message switching.
7. Describe the following

8. Explain various channel allocation methods and their advantages.
