11. X subscribed for some shares in a Public Limited
Company relying on the false statement in the prospectus
furnished by the company's promoter and suffered some
loss. As a result. X subsequently transferred these shares
to Y and the latter suffered huge loss as a result of crash
of the script due to the false information becoming public.
Discuss the remedies against the promoter.
