1. Short answer questions. (All the five questions are compulsory) [5x5=25]
a. Discuss importance of statistics in speech and hearing science.
b. Explain scales of measurement.
c. Describe theory of probability
d. Compare and contrast parametric and non parametric statistics
e. Describe standard error sampling distribution.
2. Attempt any one. Both questions carry equal marks. [15]
a. Explain measurement of central tendency. Discuss its need and types with illustration

b. Compute co-efficient of co-relation using Pearson's product moment of correlation of the following two sets of scores.
