1. What are the broad components of Infrastructure sector Bring out the role of road transport and energy infrastructure in promoting economic development.
2. What are the problems of Indian agriculture Explain the efforts made by the 'New Agricultural Strategy' to overcome them.
3. What is meant by Multinational Corporations (MNCs) Give a brief assessment of their functioning in the host country.
4. What are the basic features of service sector? Explain the main causes of rapid rise in its contribution to Gross Domestic Product in recent years.

5. Make an assessment of the 'New Industrial Policy 1991.'
6. Discuss the three stages of Demographic Transition.
