1. Every written text for children employs the usage of language and the issues of vocabulary, phonetics and grammar play a very important role in it. Discuss.

Adolescents enjoy pondering over hypothetical issues and as a result, may· become rather idealistic. In such a situation, how can books help them?
2. Explain the concept, classification and editorial issues related to children's literature with special reference to various age-groups. 20

What are the editorial skills required to edit legends, myths and fables for children
3. What are the special skills required to prepare textbooks, dictionaries and encyclopedia for children 20

An editor should ensure the relevance of content, continuity, consistency and logical conclusion while preparing teacher support material. Discuss.
