2. What is filter in photographic imaging? Explain the different types of filters used in photographic imaging. 10
3. Describe the identification of geomorphic and hydrogeomorphic features and their mapping. 10
4. How will you find the soil characteristics using remote sensing techniques? Explain in detail. 10
5. Explain the working principle of aerial metric camera. 10
6. Discuss with examples the usefulness of multi-seasonal data in land-use/land cover pattern analysis. 10
7. Name the different sensors developed by India for remote sensing. Explain the spectral and spatial resolution of all LISS sensors. 10
8. Define the term orbit with reference to geometry of remote sensing. Discuss the different types of orbits giving neat sketches. 10
