Application are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow on contract basis for the DBT funded project entitled A study on the role of Chitotriosidase-1 in the Pathophysiology of Sporadic Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis under Dr. K.Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Professor Of Neurophysiology & Principal Investigator.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 1 (One) MPhil in Neurophysiology/ Neurosciences OR Masters Degree in Neurosciences/Physiology/Life Sciences/Pharmacology or equivalent Masters degree with good academic record. 1 -2 years of technical expertise in Primary Neural Tissue Culture, maintenance of neural cell lines, molecular biology techniques, immunocytochemistry and Western blot. Experience in stem cell culture techniques, Deriving primary cultures, maintenance of neuronal/stem cell lines and techniques in molecular biology 28 Years (relaxable for deserving candidates) For candidates with NET/other equivalent qualification Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA p.m for Ist and 2nd Year; Rs.28,000/- + 30% HRA p.m for 3rd year For candidates without NET qualification: Rs.16,000/- + 30% HRA p.m for 1st and 2nd year; Rs.18,000/- + 30% HRA p.m for 3rd year 3 years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year which is extendable depending upon the performance of the candidate. |
