Advertisement for the Post of Lab Engineer (On Contract)

Applications are invited for the post of Lab Engineer (on contract) in DeitY sponsored project titled Special Manpower Development programme for Chips to System design (SMDP-C2SD). The duly completed application on prescribed format along with copies of supporting documents must reach to Principal Investigator: Dr. Manish Goswami, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Room No.2106, Computer Centre1, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, Devghat, Jhalwa, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh 211012 on or before 30/09/2016.The envelope should be super scribed as Application for the post of Lab Engineer on contract in the Research Project Special Manpower Development programme for Chips to System design (SMDP-C2SD). A soft copy of the application should also be sent to hod.ec@iiita.ac.in.The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the Funding agency rules & service conditions of IIIT Allahabad.

Focus Area: Zigbee Transreceiver design and fabrication

Project Duration: Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of the project.

Essential Qualifications: B.Tech. (ECE) and M.Tech. (VLSI/Embedded System/Microelectronics or equivalent) with 6.5 CGPA (or 60% marks) at B.Tech. & M.Tech. level and having relevant experience in VLSI related projects.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of VLSI design Tools

Consolidated Salary: 30000/-pm (Fixed).

6. Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
