Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, an Institute of National Importance, is looking for suitable person for the following posts for its 65 bedded hospital having a well equipped operation theatre and headed by the Incharge Hospital, CMO (SAG) supported by a number of Medical Officers, Visiting Specialists, etc. The Hospital caters to the medical needs of the employees, their families and students. The details for the posts are as follows :
1. Part Time Medical Officer (A) :
No. of Posts : 2 (Two)
Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S. Degree from Indian Medical Council recognized university with one year experience.
Honorarium / Salary : Rs.35000/-per month.
Appointment Type : 28 hours per week on 89 days basis. Terminable by 1 day notice on either side.
Work Profile : 5 hours independent OPD either from 08.00 a.m. to
01.00 p.m. or 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on weekdays.
1-2 night duties per month or 1-2 casualty duties from 01.00
p.m. to 09.00 p.m. on holidays or 1-2 casualty duties from
01.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m. on holidays or 1-3 OPD from 09.30
a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (3 hrs) on Weekends and Holidays or any combination of above.
Accommodation : On days of duty, MO duty room will be provided in hospital. No campus accommodation will be provided otherwise.
2. Part Time Medical Officer (B) :
No. of Posts : 2 (Two)
Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S. Degree from Indian Medical Council recognized university with one year experience.
Honorarium / Salary : Rs.42500/-per month with annual increment of 10%.
Appointment Type : 34 hours per week on 89 days basis. Terminable by 1 day notice on either side.
Working Hours : 5 hours in casualty -OPD from 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. will be given weightage of 100% i.e. 5 hours whereas, 9 hours of night duty from 11.00 p.m. to 08.00 a.m. will be given weightage of 50%, i.e. 4.5 hours.
Duties will be scheduled on alternate days from 06.00 p.m to
08.00 a.m.; irrespective of Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Leaves will be adjusted with the other PTMO-B. If the duty hours per week exceeds 34 hours, extra payment on pro-rata basis will be made.
Duties : Walk-in OPD patients not requiring intensive care, assisting the emergency PTMO and the duty medical officer and taking charge of medical officer's duty, if he / she leaves the hospital for patient transfer.
Accommodation : On days of duty, PTMO duty room will be provided in hospital. No campus accommodation will be provided otherwise.
Candidates who possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above are requested to appear for Walk-In-Interview at Hospital Conference Room, IIT Hospital, Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai -400076 on 22.08.2017 from 3.00 p.m. onwards alongwith resume, copies of all certificates with originals.
