Privacy Enhancing Revocable Biometric Identities (PERBI)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the research project entitled Privacy Enhancing Revocable Biometric Identities (PERBI) funded by BRNS, Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Pritee Khanna, Principal Investigator, Computer Science and Engineering Discipline, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur. The details are given below:

Name of available post: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

Number of available positions: 01

Essential Qualifications: BE/BTech in CSE/ECE (preferably ME/MTech in CSE/ECE) Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference.

Desirables: Candidate having knowledge of signal/image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and biometric systems will be preferred.

Age limit: Preferably below 28 years as on March 20, 2017.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month till end.

General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three year or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD programme in our institute provided satisfying the eligibility criteria for PhD programme in the Computer Science and Engineering. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets must be presented at the time of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communication in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Procedure: Written Test (if found desirable by the selection committee)/Interview.
