Detailed Advertisement for the Post of Research Associate (On Contract)

Applications on plain paper with complete bio-data along with self -attested photocopies of candidates professional certificates are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Associate (on contract) to work in Centre for Interdisciplinary Research, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad. This post of Research Associate is funded by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) Phase II. The application completed in all respects should reach to: Dean (P&D), Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad 211004 on or before July 30, 2013 [Extended upto September 06, 2013]. The envelope should be superscribed as Application for the post of Research Associate (on contract) TEQIP Phase II. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the TEQIP Phase II rules & service conditions of MNNIT Allahabad.

Eligibility

i. Candidates with a Ph.D. Degree in Science OR Engineering (Candidates submitted their Ph.D. thesis may be considered).

ii. Consistently good academic record.

iii. Experience of handling different materials synthesis and characterization techniques namely X-ray Diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscope, Atomic Force Microscope, Photoluminescence, Transmission electron microscope.

iv. Three letters of recommendation/reference from peers regarding the research capabilities and other attributes.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants will be maximum of 35 years (Relaxed by 5 years for woman and reserved category)

Duration

The duration of fellow ship is initially for one year than may be extended further depending upon continuation/extension of TEQIP-II Scheme.
