In research project entitled MNREs 70 70 Lakh Solar Study Lamp Scheme sanction order dateddated 16/03/2017 sponsored by Ministry of New and Renewable ewable Energy (MNRE) through Indian Institute of Techno nology Bombay, Mumbai, applications are invited from Indian nationalstionals for the following posts (On Contract):

Tenure of Appointment : Appointmen intment will be made on contract basis for a period of eleven even months initially, which may bemay be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of the project roject (December 2018).

1. The Institute reserves the right to accept application at any time. Qualification and experience may be relaxed by the Institute at any point of time for otherwiseexceptional candidates.
2. Mere possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for Interview. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and need of the project.
3. Shortlisted Candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date. So, the candidate must provide valid E-mail IDs in their applications.
4. Shortlisted candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with updated CV andoriginal and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets/ certificates in support of their academic qualifications and experience.
5. Applicants in employment (government or any other organization) are required to submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category should submit proper caste certificate as per the proforma of Government of India (which should not be more than 6 months old from the last date of submission of application) and which should among others specifically mention that he/she does not belong to the persons/sections (creamy layer) as mentioned in Col.3 of the schedule to the Department of Personnel & Training in the Government of India O M. Candidates belonging to OBC (NCL) category, but coming in creamy layer will not be entitled to the benefits of reservation and should apply as General category candidates.
