And South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd., notified under" The Bihar State Electricity Reforms Transfer Scheme, 2012 dated 30.10.2012 as per the details given below:-

  • For Blhar State Power Generation Company Ltd.: Director (Technical) and Director (Finance).

  • For Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd.: Director (Operations), Director (Project) and Director (Finance).

    Minimum 15 years in Projects and technical side out of which at least 10 years should be

    MBA (HR) or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in

    Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations from a recognized Institute/ University.

    Compensation:

    • Pay Scale: Rs 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/.

    • For Candidate from !AS/Central Services "Group A"/ IES, will Draw the salary payable in their Cadre/ parent Organization in this way, the pay given for CMD, MD and whole TIme Director of five successor Companies of erstwhile BSEB, in Para-13(a) of the notification, shall not be payable to candidates from !AS/Central Services Group"A"/IES, unless they are eligible for it in their cadre/parent organization. But they will be eligible for pay allowances and deputation allowances payable in their parent cadre.

    • For Candidates from PSUs: The Candidates will Draw the salary payable in their parent Organization and Deputation Allowances.

    • For Retired Employees from Govt. Departments/PSUs: The Search Committee will have the power to offer stage in the

      designated scale. The Pay fixation will be guided by the extant Govt. Rules factoring in the pension drawn.

    • For Private Sector Employees: The Search Committee will have the power to offer stage in the designated scale.

    • Other benefits like HRA/Company Accommodation, Car, Medical Benefit etc. as per Company Rules.

    • Period of Appointment: The period of appointment will be initially for a period of 3 years and extendable up to 5 years.

      • In depth knowledge of operational and commercial activities related to Power sector and specially in the areas of Transmission/Distribution as per requirement.

      • Candidates from !AS/Central Services Group "A" (Indian Revenue Services/Indian Custom & Excise Services) with minimum 4 years' experience.

    3. For Director (Projects):

      • Minimum experience of 15 years in projects and technical side out of which at least 10 years experience should be in the power sector.

      • In depth knowledge of project planning and management techniques and experience of managing large projects in a large organization.

    4. For Director (HR):

  • Minimum experience of 15 years.

  • Candidates from !AS/Central Services Group "A" with minimum 4 years' experience

    S. For Director (Finance):

  • Minimum experience of 10 years.

  • Experience in relation to Corporate Financial Management & Accounts including Cost &

    Budgetary Control, Institutional Finance & Working Capital Management.

  • Candidates from !AS/Central Services Group "A" {Indian Audit & Accounts Services/ Indian Railway Account Services/Indian Defence Account Services/Indian Telecom Account Services) with minimum 4 years' experience.

    Ill. Other Conditions:

    1 . For Govt. Department/ PSU Employees:

  • The officers working in Central/ State Government and in Central/State PSUs possessing the required qualification and experience can be considered for selection on deputation basis. They should submit their application through proper channel.

    2. For Private Sector Employees:

  • Executives should be working in companies where the annual turnover of Rs. S0crores or more.
