Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) invites applications for the following posts on Direct Recruitment (Regular basis)

  1. Senior Administrative Officer

    No. of posts : 02 (1 post reserved for OBC)

    Age Limit 45 years

    Qualification & Experience: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline preferably in Business Administration with minimum 8 years in-line experience out of which 5 years should be in immediate lower pay band of Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400/- or equivalent in an Educational/Research/other Institutions of repute. Post Graduate Diploma in Material Management would be an added advantage. The candidates should have administrative background and experience in General Administration like Personnel & Establishment matters, Purchase etc with Sound knowledge of Govt. rules and regulations & knowledge of computer operation.

  2. Programme Manager No. of post : 01

    Pay band Rs. 15600-39100/- GP-6600) (Pre revised)

    Place of Posting Noida Age Limit 45 Years

    Qualification & Experience: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline preferably in Business Administration with minimum 8 years in-line experience in Business Development, organizing Management Development Programmes and various other related activities in Educational/Research / other Institutes of repute, out of which 5 years should be in immediate lower pay band of Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400/-. The candidates should have excellent analytical, business and communications skills with exposure in computer applications.

  3. Hindi Translator No. of post : 01

Pay band Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs.2800/- (Pre revised)

Place of Posting Lucknow Age Limit 35 Years

Qualification & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as compulsory subject from a recognized university/institute. Minimum 2 years experience as Junior Hindi Translator/Hindi Translator in any State/Central Govt. PSU/Autonomous body. The candidate should be able to translate various official correspondence from Hindi to English and vice-a-versa. The candidate should have knowledge of Data Entry Operation/typing in Hindi/English.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. All other allowances are as applicable to Central Govt. employees stationed at Lucknow

    /Noida.

  2. Persons working in Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies etc. should send their applications either through proper channel or should furnish No Objection Certificate at the time of test/interview.

  3. Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of applications from the candidates. The age limit is relaxable to candidates belonging to

    SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as per Central Govt. rules for which applicants have to attach the necessary certificates as prescribed by the Govt. of India.

  4. There is no age limit for departmental candidates. .

  5. Mere fulfilling of the minimum advertised qualification and experience requirements DO NOT automatically entitle an applicant to be called for test/interview.

  6. All the applications received within the due date in response to this advertisement shall be considered by a Screening Committee and ONLY the candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for written test/interview. The decision of the Institute will be final and the Institute will not entertain any correspondence in this respect.

  7. Selection Process for Senior Administrative Officer/Programme Manager - The candidates are required to write a paragraph of 200 words (in English). The topic for write- up will be given at that time only followed by a personal interview.

  8. Selection Process for Hindi Translator - Written test will be conducted for the post to check the candidates skills/capabilities in writing/translation of English to Hindi and vice-a- versa. The written test will be for a duration of one hour. Those who qualify the written test as per the merit and criteria decided by the Institute will be required to undergo for skill test (typing) in qualifying nature and panel will be drawn accordingly.

  9. The candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- (five hundred only) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Management, payable at Lucknow. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

  10. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are not required to submit the application fee.

  11. Outstation candidates called for interview for the post of Senior Administrative Officer/Programme Manager will be reimbursed II AC to & fro actual railway fare for the shortest route.

  12. Outstation candidates for the post of Hindi Translator, who will be shortlisted for skill (typing) test after qualifying written test will be paid to & fro Sleeper Class railway fare for the shortest route.

  13. IIM Lucknow reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts, if it desires so.

  14. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

  15. Legal disputes if any will be restricted within the jurisdiction of Lucknow only.
