Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Will be the in-charge of the machine shop including CNC machines, FMS cells, modular production systems, etc.

Working knowledge of CNC machines. General handling and operations of CNC machines FMS cells, MPSs, traditional lathes, milling and grinding machine tools.

Provide training to undergraduate students in machine shop including CNC machines.

Fabrication of parts for research scholars/ industry in machine shop including CNC machines.

Qualification and Personal Profile

Degree in Manufacturing/ Production/ Mechanical Engineering

OR

Diploma in Production/ Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of experience in machine shop

Should be not above 50 years of age as on 1st Nov 2017.

Other Skill and Ability Requirements

Preference will be given to those who have the knowledge / experience of CNC part programming, non-conventional machining operations like ECM, EDM and Ultrasonic machining etc.

Working knowledge of MS office preferred.

Annual Salary

Pay Band 9300- 34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 3600. The Package will be up to 4.25 Lac per annum depending upon experience and qualification plus other benefits as per BITS Norms.
