ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROJECT FELLOW/JRF POSITION

Applications are invited for one position of JRF (leading to PhD from BITS Pilani) in a DST-SERB project Theoretical Study of Electron impact double ionization of atoms and

molecules at Department of Physics, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Pilani Campus.

As the nature of the work mostly revolves around the development of basic theory and computational codes, it is preferable to have sound knowledge in any programming language (C/C++/Python/Fortran/Matlab) with basic Quantum Mechanics. The Principal Investigator has an active collaboration with abroad (see www.msnano.org ) which may be helpful for the JRF/Project Fellow.

Duration of the Project: 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria: M. Sc. in Physics/M.Tech. with at least 60% marks. A candidate with CSIR-NET/GATE/JEST qualification and experience in relevant area will be preferred.

Fellowship: As per DST norms.
