Applications in prescribed form are invited from citizens of India for filling up of 33(Thirty three) posts of Range Forest Officer (RFO), Group-B (Gazetted) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees from time to time. Out of 33 posts, 32 posts are reserved for APST candidates and 1 (one) post un-reserved (i.e for open competition). Further, out of 33 posts 16 posts are reserved for Forestry Graduates and 17 posts are reserved for other Science Graduates. Selection of post will be made from combined merit list. Vacancy position and reservation is subject to variation.

  1. AGE : The candidates must have attained 18 years of age and should not be more than 30 years of age as on 10.02.2017. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

  2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate applying for the post must be a Bachelors degree in Science/Engineering/Agriculture/Forestry from a recognized university with at least one of the following subjects:

    (The standard of these subjects shall be that of a Bachelor s Degree)

    However, the final year students of the above degree courses who are to appear for such final examination shall also be eligible to appJy. Such, candidates who are declared to have qualified by the Commission in the written competitive examination will have to produce original certificates or mark sheers of passing their degree examination issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice Chancellor of the concerned university will only be accepted by the Commission on or before the date of lnterview/Viva-voce. Without the original certificate/mal'l<-sheet they shall not be allowed to appear in the lnterview/Viva-voce.

  3. MINIMUM PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT: Candidates must possess following minimum height and chest girth:-

  4. METHOD OF SELECTION: The eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written

    Examination in the following subjects:

    General English (Essay, Precise writing etc.)

    100 marks

    2(two) optional subjects carrying 200 marks each

    General Knowledge Viva-voce

    100 marks

    400 marks

    50 marks Tot al 650 marks

    Candidates are to select any 2(two) of the subject listed at SI.No.2 Clause-(i) to (xxii) above but will not be allowed to offer the following combination of subject s.

    1. Agric ulture, Agricultural Engineering & Veterinary Sci ence.

    2. Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

    3. Computer Application/Computer Science and Computer Engineeri ng.

    4. Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.

    5. Mathematics and Statistics.

    The candidate who has secured a minimum of 33% or more marks in each written examination papers and has secured 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examinati on papers shall be eligible for lnterview/Viva-voce and on the basis of 1:3 ratio norms.

    Qualified candidates in the written examination must pass Physical Test covering the distance

    within 4 hours on foot respectively and followed by a medical examination by a Medical Board. (a ) For Male candidates 25 Kms in 4 hours

    (b} For Female candidates 14 Kms in 4 hours

    Note: The Commission will adopt Recruitment Test {Objective type) before the written examination if it is deemed necessary to do so .

  5. AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS AND SYLLABUS: Application forms can be obtained from the Commi ssi on' s Office on all working days from 1000 hours to 1600 hours up to 10.02. 2017 on cash payment Rs. 220/- only for APST candidates and Rs.2 80/ - only for General candidates. Further, Application form and Attendance sheet can also be typed out or downloaded from Commission's Office Website www.appsc.qov.in and it can be sent through post enclosing required fee in the form of Demand Draft/IPO in favour of Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commi ssion, ltanagar-791 111 payable at SBI, Itanagar Branch, Itanagar (A.P). The envelope must prescribe on its body " Appl icatio n form for the post of Range Forest Officer, last date 10.02.2017.

  6. HOW TO APPLY: Along with the dully filled-up format, candidates must enclose the follo wing documents other-wise the application will be rejected .

    1. Self-attested copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheets issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination /Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain educational qualification.

    2. 2 (two) copies of recent pass-port size photographs with self-attestation in the front side. (Your one self-attested photograph should be pasted on the space provided in the Application form and another on the Attendance sheet).

    3. Self-attested copy of APST certificate.

    4. Self-attested copy of APST certificate for APST candidates and ST/SC/OBC certificate/PRC for the candidates belonging to other States of India.

    5. Self-attested copy of Matriculation certificate for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.

    6. Enclose copy of original DD/ IPO (for those form other than obtained from Commission Office).

  7. LAST DATE O F RECEI VING O F APPLICATION: The last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is 10.02.2017.

  8. OTHER RULES.:

  1. All the documents submitted to the Commission must be self-attested.

  2. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the interview or selection will.be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entert ai ned.

  3. Candidates already in service may apply direct to this Commission with intimation to his/her HoD.

  4. Application in prescribed form along with necessary documents should be submitted in the Reception counter in a cover/envelope superscribed, "Application for the post of Range Forest Officer" and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure your submission of application form.

  1. Application form received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. .

  2. The Commis sion will not be responsible for delay in receipt of applicati on due to any reason whatsoever.

  3. Application form can be sent through post/ courier.

  4. Application form not fulfilling the terms and conditions as stipulated rejected.
