Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of Project Fellow (One) (purely temporary) for Classical Tamil Research Project on Pazhamozhi Naanuuru in the Centre for Tribal Folklore, Language and Literature.

1	Project Fellow To work on the project entitled The Epistemological Foundations of Cultural Models of Ancient Tamil Society: Semiotic and Cognitive Explorations of Pazhamozhi Naanuuru. It requires intensive fieldwork in Tamil Nadu.	M.A. in Folkloristics/ Tamil/ Linguistics with Ph.D. Knowledge in Sangam Literature is essential. Previous experience of concordance work of any classical Tamil text. Keen interest in folklore activities such as doing intensive fieldwork.	One year (12 months)	Rs. 8000/- * per month. (Consolidated) (No other allowances including TA/DA for fieldwork will be permitted.)

* As per the terms and conditions of the Central Institute of Classical Tamil, Chennai.

Shortlisted candidates for interview will be notified only through CUJs website (www.cuj.ac.in ) and the interview will be held at the Centre for Tribal Folklore, Language and Literature, CUJ.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
