2 Essential Qualifications For Training and Placement Officer : The candidate with MBA (HR) with minimum 60% of marks qualified from a recognized University and having at least 5 years' experience in any Government / Private organizations of repute Fund Raising Officer : The candidate with MBA (Finance / Marketing ) with minimum 60% of marks qualified from a recognized university and having at least 5 years' experience in the related field in any Government / Private organizations of repute.
3 Salary Rs.40,000/p.m. (consolidated)
4 Other details Initial tenure of appointment will be for a period of six months, which is likely to be extended based on the performance.

Job Description

Training and Placement Officer

The training and placement officer is expected to carry out following functions:

1) To work with the Chair and cochair of the Placement Guidance & Advisory Bureau (PGAB) as well as the faculty placement coordinators of the various Schools/Departments/Centres in organizing the Campus placements for the students of the University. This also involves in maintaining cordial relations with the existing companies visiting the University as well as initiating new contacts with the Organizations/Corporates and inviting them to Campus for placements.

2) To correspond with the various company HR professionals and campus placement managers in exchanging the details of the courses/students as per the requirements made by them. This involves corresponding/ communicating with them even after office hours through mail/mobiles etc.

3) To guide the students of the various Schools/Departments/Centres in preparing the placement brochure. This involves calling for quotations, processing the same and issuing the order for the final printing work after approval of the competent authority.

4) Coordinate with both the company/Schools/Departments/Centres faculty/students in fixing the date for the preplacement talk, examination and later arranging discussion, technical interviews for the short listed students on the Campus.

5) Coordinate with the administrative units/departments concerned for arranging venue for the examinations/online tests and later for the interviews as well.

6) To ensure that the bills of the various expenses incurred for the placement by vendors are processed and settled expeditiously.

7) Providing information to the Schools/Departments/Centres students concerned on requirement for offcampus placements.

8) Providing information on the various government/private jobs which may be suitable to our students and which are not coming under the purview of the campus placements.

9) Identifying the training needs of the students in coordination with the respective schools/departments, faculty placement coordinator and facilitating the same.

10) Organizing talks by experts on industry expectations from the students.

11) Organizing softskills workshops and motivational talks by experts.

12) Any other work assigned from time to time by the authority.

Fund Raising Officer

The Officer to assist the Fund Raising Committee is expected to carry out following functions:

1) Fund raising from alumni, phylanthus, sponsorships from various Government agencies, donations under CSR.

2) Approach corporates to donate under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for specific projects that can be undertaken at the University of Hyderabad.

3) Conduct research, come up with ideas, develop policies, create detailed plans, build relationships with partner organizations, and then implement and coordinate a range of activities and initiatives which are designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities.

4) Will be responsible for organizing the meetings of the University Fund Raising Committee and maintaining the records.

5) Will be involved in organizing meetings with the CEOs/CMDs of major corporate and groups and help in marketing the University for Financial Support.

6) To ensure that the bills of the various expenses incurred for the activities are processed and settled expeditiously.

7) Any other work assigned from time to time by the authority.
