VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited for the posts of Senior Monitors and Monitors on contractual basis in EMMC, a sub-ordinate office of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The selected candidates would be engaged by BECIL, a PSU under Ministry of I&B and deployed at EMMC, New Delhi for monitoring job. The details of eligibility criteria,- vacancy position and emoluments are as under:-

1. Senior Monitor

   • Vacancy: 3 posts in Kannada, Tamil and Bengali languages

   • Professional fee: Rs 30,000 p.m. (fixed):

   • Eligibility

     Mandatory:

     Bachelor In Journalism and Mass Communication PG Diploma In Journalism

     Two ye'ars experience in Media or News Agency

     OR

     Retired from OD/AIR as News Editor/Assistant Director News

2. Monitor

   • Vacancy: 9 posts in Kannada(2), A_ssamese(2),- Telugu(2), Tamil(2) and Marathi(!) languages

   • Professional fee: Rs 23,000 p.m (fixed):

Mandatory:

Graduation

One year experience in the field of Media/ News Proficiency in the Languagecon emed and'Co;mputer

Desirable:

PG Diploma/ Bachelor in Journalism'/Mass Communication

The number of vacancies is tentative and is likely to change. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility conditions mentioned against the vacant post. Proficiency in English is expected from candidates for all the posts as work of monitors involves making reports in English. Candidates are required to provide a mobile phone number in the registration form to enable communication with them through SMS messages/calls.
