Driving License at the time of Driving Test. In case, the candidate
fails to do so then he shall not be allowed to take Driving Test
and be straightway disqualified for the further selection
procedure
Desirable Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one
or more (subject to maximum limit of the following)
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level;
b) NCC 'B' Certificate
c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire
service.
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training
Establishment
(e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College,
Nagpur

Eye Sight Distance Vision 6/6 At Both Eyes Without Glasses.Near Vision N5 In Both Eyes Without Glasses.Colour Vision Should be Normal as determined by Ischiharascharts.
Height Not less than 167 cm.
Chest 81 cm normal. Minimum expansion 5 cms
Weight Not less than 55 Kg.

Speech Normal

Must not have undergone major operation by virtue of which his physical fitness towork in Fire Service has been impaired. Should be capable of undergoing physicalstrain for prolonged periods.

Selection Process The candidates will have to appear for written test, physicalmeasurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview. The candidates will be allowed to appear in driving test / physicalendurance test subject to passing the written test. Appointment tothe post of Junior Assistant (FS) is subject to fulfilling eligibilityconditions and successful passing of Basic Training Course for aperiod of four months. During training, incumbent is entitled forstipend as per the rules.

DISQUALIFICATION Physical deformity, chronic diseases, colour blindness, nightblindness, squint eye, flat foot, bow legs, knocking knee andrefractive error will be considered as disqualification.

(or) ii) Post Graduation Degree in any other subject other than Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi /English as a compulsory / optional subject at graduation level. (or) iii) Post Graduation Degree in any other subject other than Hindi / English from a recognized University along with Hindi/English as a medium of education at Graduation level and Hindi/English as a compulsory / optional subject or as a medium of examination. (or) iv) Graduation Degree from any recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory / optional subject or either
of the two as a medium of examination and other as a

OTHER CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

with Hindi and English as compulsory / optional subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and other as a compulsory / optional subject, along with a recognized diploma /certificate course in translation (from Hindi to English or vice-versa) or an experience of two years of translation work from Hindi to English or vice-versa from Central / State Govt. Offices or Established Institution etc. including Undertakings of Govt. of India.

Knowledge of Hindi Typing

Up to 30 years.

Written test/Interview

i) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or equivalent. ii) (a) Registered as Nurse; and

(b) Registered as Mid wife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council;

iii) Appropriate knowledge of Computer application will be preferred.

Up to 35 years

Two years relevant experience in the discipline.

Written test/ Interview

1 Age Relaxation:(i) 5 years for SC/ST (ii) 3 years for OBC(iii) Length of service extended by 3 yrs for Ex-servicemen.(iv) Person with disabilities-10 years.
2 The extent of physical disability / deformity should be minimum 40% supported by a certificate of Disabilityin prescribed format issued only by a Board duly constituted by the Central / State Government.
3 Only those candidates who are fulfilling the eligible criteria will be allowed to appear in the written test.Candidates have to appear for the written test / trade test/ interview to the above posts at their own expenses. SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd class rail fare as per rules.
4 The eligibility with regards to age, qualification, Driving license, etc. will be determined as on 15/04/2012
5 The qualification must be obtained from Govt. recognized institutions / Universities.
6 Employees of Govt. / Public sector undertaking should forward their application through proper channel.Advance copy will not be entertained.
7 Canvassing in any manner and bringing outside influence shall make the candidature liable for rejection.
8 The authority reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for test / interview andchange of exam centre on the basis of any other norms decided by the authority at a later date.
9 The management reserves the right / has the discretion not to fill any vacancy and to change the vacancyposition depending upon the requirement.
10 Applications received after due date and incomplete applications shall be summarily liable to be rejected.AAI will not be responsible for any postal delay.

12 SC/ST/OBC Certificates should be in the format prescribed by the Government of India. The OBC Certificateshould invariably contain the 'CREAMY / NON-CREAMY LAYER CLAUSE based on income for the current financial year.
13 Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will NOT BE refunded on
any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
14 Candidates selected are likely to be posted in any part of India.
15 The decision of the selection committee is not liable for challenge and same shall stand final and binding ofeach candidate.

Please mention Name of the candidate on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. SC/ST / Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. 2 The application should accompany the following documents:i)
