ADVERTISEMENT FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST- SERB (Govt. of India, New Delhi) sponsored research project [File No: ECR/2016/001937] entitled Synthesis and characterization of nanostructured magnetic metal oxide-based materials for solar cell applications.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

Positions: One

Fellowship and duration: JRF @ 25,000/- per month for the first two years. Based on the performance, the position may be extended to one more year with the emolument @ 28,000/- per month. HRA will be given as per subject to fund released by DST-SERB.

Age Limit: 28 Years or below, as on the last date for receipt of application (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidates will be given as per DST norms).

Eligibility Requirements: Master degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with at least 55% and valid NET/GATE score with preferable specialization in Solid State Physics/Physics with electronics/Materials science. Candidates with M.Tech. degree in Nano-Science and Technology/ Materials Science, are also eligible to apply.

Important:

(i) The position is purely temporary and it is coterminous with the project. If selected, initially the position will be offered for 01 year. Later on, it may be extended on yearly basis maximum up to a total tenure of 03 years depending upon the performance of the candidate. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided the candidate satisfies the eligibility criterion for PhD program in NIT Patna.

(iii) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
