1-JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Traffic Manager:
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline:
Job Description & Resposibilities:The officer is responsible for administering Railway Transport in the organization. He/She is responsible for Planning of freight movement, and Infrastructure Planning. He/She will ensure optimum utilization of railway's assets by maximizing output with available inputs.This is achieved by coordinating with the service departments looking after various assets of railways like track, wagons, engines, signals, etc. He/She will combine the output of the various departments maintaining the assets rolling stock and fixed infrastructure to produce a service output -passenger and freight transport.
Experience:
Should have minimum 25- 30 years experience in Traffic Branch of Indian Railways, out of which minimum service of 5 years in the capacity of Senior Scale officer, should have working experience at Division level and at HQ level .
Additional Skills :
Should have the proficiency in Computer Applications such as Word,excel & Power Point.
2.Tenure of Re-employment :One year, extendable as per the requirement of KRCL.
3.Salary: As per extant rules.
4.Posting :-The vacancy is at Madgaon under CM (SP & BD) . However, the selected candidate can be posted and transferred to anywhere in the area of operation of Konkan Railway CorportionLtd, including its project sites.
5.Documents to be attached with the application : Non-submission of any of these documents will render the applicant ineligible.
