AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORM & SYLLABUS:

Application forms for admission to the APPSCCE (Prelim) Examination, 201 with syllabus can be obtained from the Commission's office, Itanagar, Office of all Deput Commissioners, ArunachaJ Pradesh, Principal Resident Commissioner, Arunachal Bhawa New Delhi and Deputy Resident Com missio ner, Shillong, Kolkota and Guwahati, Govt. Arunachal Pradesh on all working days from 10 AM to 4 PM upto 22/06/2017

. No separate examination fee in _t he form of DO/Treasury Challan/IPO will be

uired along with the application. The examination fee has been included in the cost of lication form.

  • No supporting documents (except photograph) are to be submitted for ission to APPSCCE (Preliminary), 2017.

ELIGIBILITY:

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained 18 years of ageand should not be more than 30 years of age as on 22/06/2017. However, upper age limit is relaxable in case of APST, Ex-servicemen and AP Govt. Servant as per rule 4 (2) a, b, c, d of Schedule-11of APPSCCE RULES/2001 .

Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized unive rsity. Candidates, who have appeared or intend to appear at such a qualifying examination shall also be eligible. However , Such candidates will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible but their admission shall be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce the proof of having passed the requisite examination which are required to be submitted to the Commission by the candidates who qualify in Written part of the examination prior to interview/viva-voce test of the main examination. Their candidature will be finally accepted on production of PROOF OF HAVING PASSED THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION IN ORIGINAL ON OR BEFORE THE DATE OF INTERVIEW TO BE FIXED BY THE COMMISSION FAILING WHICH THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR IN

THE INTERVIEW/VIVA-VOCE TEST. If due to non holding of convocation the degree certificate cannot be produced then marksheet iss ued by competent authority should be produced as proof of having passed the qualifying examination and for the candidates of recognized Autonomous Colleges, THE MARKSHEET/GRADE REPORT IN ORIGINAL issued by the Contro ller/ Dy. Controller, Assistant Controller/Chief Controller of the examinat ion of such recognised autonomous colleges shall only be accepted.

IMPORTANT: Candidates opting for Dy.SP / APPS(EG) sha ll have to fulfil} the physical fitness/physical efficiency test/Medical standard as given below:

The physical fitness test shall precede the personality test. This Physical fitness test shall be .conducted by the Director General Police in presence of one of the Members of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

The candidates will be put through physical efficiency test as indicated below

For Male candidates:-

!. 1600 meters{lmile) race to be completed in 7 minutes.

  1. Long jump of 335.28cm (3 chances to be given).

  2. Obstacle crossing of any six of the following :

    182.88cm x 25.40 cm pickets over which the candidates have to jump &cross.

  1. Clearing the wall of 15 2.40 cm x 213.36 cm x 60.96 cm.

  2. Jump by holding the rope from obstacle of 243.84 cm height. Tarzan swingof 304.80 cm long.

  3. Parallel rope of918.40 cm long.

  4. Monkey rope of 457.20 cm long

  5. Climbing the vertical rope of 487.68 cm long.

  6. Crossing 182.88 cm wall.

    For Female candidates :-

    1. 100 meters race in 16 seconds.

    2. 800 meters race in 4 minutes.

    3. Long jump of 304.80 cm (3 chances to be given).

    4. High jump of 91.44 cm (3 chances to be given).

    Candidates already in service will be allowed to appear in the Preliminary Examination at their nearest Examination centres of that district where they are serving. hose candidates who are staying with their parents in a particular district will be allowed o appear in the Preliminary Examination at their parents posting place and the rest non working candidates will be accommodated at their respective home districts. However final llocation of centres to the appearing candidates will be decided according to the onvenience of the Commission.

  3. OPTIONAL SUBJECT:

    Candidates are required to offer optional subject from the subjects prescribed for preliminary examination in the syllab us. Non-mentioning of optional subject in the OMR orm will lead to rejection of application.

  4. LAST DATE FOR RECEIVING APPLICATION:

The duly filled up OMR application forms must reach the Secretary, Aru,-iachal Prades h Public Service Commission, Itanagar - 791111 (Arunach Pradesh) positively on

or before 22/06/2017 upto 4 PM. Applications received after thJ-prescribed last date

will not be entertained under any circumsta nces, whatsoever. The Commission will not be responsible for late receipt of application caused due to postal delay.

{H) RESERVATION:

The Govt of A.P. Reservation policy of 80:20 ratio will be followed. The implementation of Reservation for Person with Disability will be strictly mainta ined as per the requisition submitted by the Department of (Personnel) and roster maintained by each department and also as per the Govt Notification issued by the Social Welfare & Child Development Department, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh vide Notification No. SW-13/2007 (PIL)/470 21 t May, 2007. However, such candidates will have to submit the medical certificates issued by ohly an Authorised Medical Board for the Main Examination failing

which, s uftch ca. ndidates will be treated as normal candidates and shall not be entitled to concession. In the Medical Board the Specialist of the particular disabilities for which

certificate is sought should be a member of the board otherwise the Medical Certificate will not be accepted.

  1. There will be "NEGATIVE MARKING" in Preliminary Examination - 2017 i.e. 1 / 4 of the mark will be deducted for 1 (one) wrong answer.

  2. Separate application form will be issued to the candidate who qualify for the main exam ination.

  3. The number of candidates to be admitted to the main examination will be about 11- 12 times of number of vacancies to be filled up.

  4. (a) The candidates who secure a minimum of 33% or more marks in each of Main examination papers and 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the Ma in examination papers shall be eligible for viva-voce test In other words, selection for v iva voce test shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers and subject to ratio 1:3. The candidates securing less than 33% of marks in any of written examination paper shall not be eligible for appear ing in t he viva-voce test.

    (b) For appearing in the viva-voce test, candidates shall be selected in the "ratio"

    of 1:3 (meaning 3 candidates shall be selected for each vacancy or 3 (three) times of the number of vacancies) on the basis of written examination papers. However, ratio of 1:3 shall not apply in case the candidates appearing in the written examination is Jess than 3 times of the number vacancies. In case of the ca ndidates appearing in the written examination being less than 3 times of the number of vacancies, all the candidates securing 33% of marks in each written examination papers shall be eligible for appearing in viva-vocetest

  5. The application will be.rejected on following grounds in case of APPSCCE (Main)/2017.

    i) Mistake/error in filling up of forms.

    1. Unsigned form

    2. No n-submiss ion of documents e.g. Education qualification certificate, age proof certificate, ST certificate, disability certificate, requisite number of photograph, Treasury Challan/Bank Draft/IPO/ PRC (in case of Non-APST), NOC from controlling officer incase of in service candidate.

    3. Not mentioning of optional subject II

    4. Using a pplication form other than the form issued by the Commission .

    5. Non-fulfilment of instructions and terms and conditions given in the advertisement and application forms.

    6. Incomplete and defective documents suh as unattested, not bearing name, seal,

      designation and signature of the issuing authority/attestingofficer.

    7. Non Self Attestation of documents.

    8. lf address is not properly mentioned.

    9. Concealment of any information.

    10. Application received after stipulated time (Late receipt).
