WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF RESEARCH ASSOCIATES AND JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS

Indian Nationals are invited in walking interview for selection to work in DRDO project for development of enhanced efficiency thermoelectric nanomaterials and modules at Defence Laboratory, a material cluster laboratory of DRDO.

Research Associate (RA)	Two	Ph.D. or equivalent degree on a topic related to Thermoelectric materials or modules OR having 03 (Three) years of Research, Teaching or Design & Development experience in Thermoelectric materials or modules area after Post graduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Physics or M.E./M.Tech. in Material Science & Engineering/Technology with at least one research paper in Science citation index (SCI) journal.	02 Years	11th October, 2017
2.	Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	Three	Post graduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Physics with first division and National Eligibility Test qualification conducted by CSIR-UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST. OR Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B. Tech.) in Material Science & Engineering/Technology in first division with NET/GATE qualification OR Post graduate (M.E./M. Tech.) degrees in professional courses in Material Science & Engineering/Technology in first division, both at graduate and post graduate level.	02 Years (may be extended further and upgraded to SRF as per rules)	12th October, 2017

FELLOWSHIP EMOLUMENT AT PRESENT:

Research Associate : Rs. 40,000/- p.m. with HRA and medical facilities as per rules

Junior Research Fellow : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. with HRA and medical facilities as per rules

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Age not exceeding 35 and 28 years for RA and JRF respectively as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for OBC candidates. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category are required to produce the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates should produce the medical certificate issues from the Government Hospital/Medical Board as the case may in support of her/his claim. NO TA WILL PAID. It may please be noted that offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.

PROCEDURE FOR ATTENDING INTERVIEW:

The eligible candidate can WALK IN FOR INTERVIEW AT DEFENCE LABORATORY, RATANADA PALACE, JODHPUR-342 011 (RAJASTHAN) AT 10:00 HRS ON THE DATE MENTIONED ABOVE. While appearing for interview, the candidates are required to submit complete Bio-Data with recent passport size photograph affixed on top right corner of the first page and one set of self attested copies of all Degrees/Academic qualification certificates/Mark Lists/Experience Certificate etc. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies should produce an NOC issued by the present employer.
