Advertisement for recruitment of Project Assistant (PA)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant (PA) under the Special Manpower Development Programme for Chip to Systems Development (SMDP-C2SD) project carried out by Department of ECE. Candidates should appear for the interview with original and attested copies of all academic and experience certificates, testimonials, completed application, bio data and pass port size photo on 03rd January 2017 at 8.30 AM in the Department of ECE, NIT Puducherry.

Project Assistant	(B.E/B.Tech) in Electronics or Electronics and communication or computer science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum CGPA of 6.5 / (ME/M.Tech) in the fields of Embedded /VLSI. Knowledge in VLSI CAD tools, Matlab, open CV, C++, UNIX and relevant areas	1. Literature survey 2. Data collection and preparation 3. Analysis of collected data 4. Maintenance of lab equipment 5. Carrying out R&D work 6. Preparation of project reports for submitting to project monitoring and project funding agency 7. Developing the skills on advanced signal/speech processing and VLSI 8. Any other administration duties assigned by CI or Co-CI	Upto Rs 20000/-

The posts are purely temporary in nature. The appointment may initially be made for a period of 1 year and the tenure may be extended for an additional 1year depending upon the performance.

Registration for Ph.D.: Temporary staffs, if found suitable, can register for Ph.D as per Institute norms.
