Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in DST sponsored research project under the Project Investigator Dr. N. Ramesh Babu, Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Tiruchirappalli-620015, Tamil Nadu.

1.	Title of the Project	Corrosion and wear resistant ceramic composite coatings on reactor grade zircalloys by plasma electrolytic oxidation for nuclear fuel cladding applications
2.	Funding Agency	DST, New Delhi
3.	Project Position and Number	JRF and 1 No
4.	Essential qualifications	M.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engg./ related specializations in Metallurgical and Materials Engg / related specializations in Mechanical Engg.
5.	Preferred qualifications	Qualified in GATE, Papers in Journals/Conferences
6.	Age	Below 35 years
7.	Emoluments	Rs 25000/- + 10% HRA (HRA, if accommodation not availed in NITT)
8.	Duration	One year and it can be extended for another one year subjected to the JRFs performance and receipt of funds from DST.
9.	Job Description	1. JRF will be engaged in the experimental work to meet the objectives of the project work 2. Operation and maintenance of the equipment. 3. Any other works related to the project
10.	Last date and time	The last date and time of submission of duly filled in application is 2.00 pm, 08-07-2017
11.	Written test and Interview	10.00 am, 10-07-2017
