Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) as per the following requirements.

Project Title	Design and Development of Power Quality Controller for Microgrid
Budget	24.72 Lakh
Principal Investigator	Dr. K. Chandrasekaran, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal - 609609
Funding Agency	SERB - DST, Government of India
Tenure of Scheme & Assignment	3 Years or up to the termination of project, subject to annual performance review. The candidate is entitled to register for Ph.D. at NIT Puducherry.
Consolidated monthly fellowship	Rs. 25,000/month (for 1st and 2nd year) Rs. 28,000/month (for 3rd year)
Essential qualifications	B.E/B.Tech (with a minimum first class) in Electrical Engineering /Electrical & Electronics Engg and M.E/M.Tech (with a minimum first class) in Power Electronics/Power Electronics & Drives/other relevant course. Those who are appearing for M.Tech./ M.E last semester may also apply. Proof of M.Tech./ M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.
Desired Skills	1. GATE score 2. A good programming skill for implementing control algorithm in software and hardware. 3. Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and experience in experimental research for fabrication of setup.

NOTE:

1. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for interview.

2. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other during this period.
