NIT Nagaland invites applicants for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the position of Assistant Project Engineer (APE) under the project title Development of Excitation Source Features based Spoof Resistant and Robust Audio-Vidual Person Identification System as detailed given below. The research project is funded by DeitY, Government of India. The Project will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Debadatta Pati, Principal investigator, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, NIT Nagaland.

Title of the Research Project: Development of Excitation Source Features based Spoof Resistant and Robust Audio-Visual Person Identification System.

Name of the position available: Assistant Project Engineer

Number of positions available: One

Essential qualifications: First class BE/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/CSE. In addition, candidate with knowledge in programming language 'C' and 'JAVA' are preferable.

Age limit: Should be below 35 years of age as on 22nd Sept, 2017 which is relaxed upto 5 years for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates. Salary: Rs. 19,000/-per month with annual increments of Rs.1000/-per year.

General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is co-terminus with the project. Selected candidate can apply for registration into regular PhD program provided he/she satisfy the eligibility criteria for PhD program in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of NIT Nagaland.

One set of self-attested photocopies of all the necessary testimonials are to be produced at the time of interview. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets/caste certificate and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview for verification.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
