Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow to work in the DST (SERB) sponsored project. The duration of project is 3 years. The qualifications and other requirements are given below.

Sl No.	Position	Educational Qualification
1	Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (on contract basis)	M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 60 % (6.5 CGPA) marks with NET qualification. In the absence of NET qualified candidates M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 60 % (6.5 CGPA) marks alone will be considered with lower salary.

Selected candidates with NET qualification will be appointed initially for a period of one year with salary of 16,000/- per month and it can be extended for another year with same salary. A fellowship amount of Rs. 18,000/- per month will be paid in the 3rd year if the candidates work is found to be satisfactory.

Selected candidates without NET qualification will be appointed initially for a period of one year with salary of 14,000/- per month and it can be extended for another year with same salary. A fellowship amount of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be paid in the 3rd year if the candidates work is found to be satisfactory.

The fellowship/salary is subject to change depending on DST directions.

Last date for receiving the application is 01/09/2014. Candidates are advised to mention their valid mobile No. and email Id in their application. Date for Interview/other communications will be informed to the shortlisted candidates through email. Relaxation is admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
