Details of the Post:
Post: Junior research fellow (JRF)
Number of Posts: One (01)
Monthly Emolument: Rs 25,000/-
Basic Qualifications: ME/MTech in Geomatics/Remote Sensing/Computer Science g. Engineering/computer
Engineering (with knowledge of hyperspectral remote sensing/image processing) or post graduate degree in basic science with expertise in remote sensing with NET/GATE
or equivalent qualification with at least 650/o marks or at least 6.5/10
cumulative Performance Index (cpD or cumulative Grade point
Average (CGPA) (60% marks or 6.0 CGpAiCpI for SC/ST).
Important:
Work/project development experience in area of remote sensing image processing,
'
pattern recognition, geographical information system is desirable. Candidate should have good programming skill (MATLAB/ pyrhon/ C++)

The selected candidate will be encouraged to join and complete ph.D. at NIT Kurukshetra.

The upper age limit for.JRF shall be 28 years. Age relaxation: upper age limit is relaxable up-to 5 years for sc/sr/oBc/women and physically handicapped candidates a No TAiDA is permissible for appearing in the interview and joining in case of selection.

Appointment will be contractual in nature and as per the Institute terms and conditions for similar cases.
Only short-listed candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
The position is ternporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance
for a maximum of two/three years
The Institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.
