7th NCA NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited Online only from qualified candidates of Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State for appointment in the under mentioned post in Kerala Government service. Before applying for the post the candidate shall register as per One Time Registration Scheme through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission. This is the Seventh NCA notification due to the non-availability of SC candidates for the post as per notification dated 31.07.2007 (Cat.No.254/2007), 10.04.2008 (Cat.No.171/2008), 29.05.2009 (Cat.No. 186/2009), 30.10.2010 (Cat.No.296/2010), 10.09.2014 (Cat.No.397/14) and 10.09.2015 (Cat.No.247/2015).

The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per

this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the

vacancies earmarked to the above community, but remains unfilled due to the paucity of

candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 29.12.2005.

    1. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State only. In their absence, from ST candidates only)

    2. Note:-Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than the above mentioned community will be summarily rejected. Individual communication regarding rejection of their application will not be issued.
  1. Age limit : 18-41 only candidates born between 01.01.1999 and 02.01.1976 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for the post, including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions.

7.Qualifications :

1. A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination.

2 Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch.

Note:

i) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.

ii) Candidates possessing Survey Recorder Class I qualification must have an experience of not less than 4 years in Hydrographic Survey from the date of acquiring the Survey Recorder Class I qualification

iii) Candidates possessing Survey Recorder Class II qualification must have an experience of not less than 6 years in Hydrographic Survey from the date of acquiring the Survey Recorder Class II qualification.

iv) The candidates who do not have the experience mentioned above can also apply for the post. However, the candidates selected shall undergo training in the respective field for the required period. During the period of training they shall be entitled for the full pay and allowance attached to the post.

Explanation

Recognised Hydrographic Survey Service for the purpose of these rules may include the following:

(1)
Service in the Hydrographic department of the Indian Navy.
(2)
Service in the Hoogly River Survey Service
(3)
Service in the Hydrographic Survey Wing of the Kerala State Port department.
(4)
Service in the Hydrographic Survey Wing of the Ministry of Transport, Govt. of India.
(5)
Service in the Hydrographic organization of the Maritime States of India.
(6)
Service in the Hydrographic Survey Department of the major ports of India.

Experience means the number of years of experience after acquiring the above academic qualification

8. Probation : Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within

a continuous period of three years. A candidate appointed to this

category, shall during the period of his/her probation pass the Account Test for

Executive Officers.

9. Mode of Submitting applications:

a) Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging in to their profile using their User-ID and password by clicking on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link . The photograph uploaded in the profile should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion in white background. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is received as provisional and the details cannot be deleted or altered after the last date fixed for receipt of applications. The application submitted not in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the notification will be summarily rejected in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. The profile correction made by candidate or in the office of KPSC on request after the last date fixed for the receipt of application will not reflect in the application. Such corrections will be in effect on the date on which correction have made.

If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registeration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.

b) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as ID Proof in their profile.
